The Monday Motivator
The Monday Motivator is a weekly e-mail message for members that provides an electronic dose of positive energy, good vibrations, and a weekly productivity tip. The purpose of the weekly message is to reinforce the core ideas presented in our webinars and provide support for individuals who are making the transition from graduate student to professor.
We offer a variety of webinars designed to meet the needs of advanced graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and faculty members. These monthly 60-90 minute professional development sessions are focused in two areas:
The NCFDD Discussion Forum is the place where our members connect, share information, peer-mentor, problem-solve, and celebrate each other's successes! In other words, it's a private online "safe space" for our members. Utilizing the NCFDD discussion forum is a great way to jump into our ongoing Monthly Writing Challenges, find local writing groups, network, peer-mentor, and discuss the challenges of the academic path.
The Library is a members-only area that provides transcripts, slides and complete audio and video recordings of all previous webinars. This is a tremendous resource, allowing members to access key information supporting them in the process of developing the skills and habits necessary for a successful, fulfilling life in the Academy.
