Post-Workshop Resources
It was great to visit your campus and work with you face-to-face. To follow up on our workshop, I have some gifts for you!

EVERY SEMESTER NEEDS A PLAN

You can obtain a copy of the slides and audio from this workshop by clicking here.

A FEW BONUS ITEMS!

BONUS #1: HOW TO DEVELOP A DAILY WRITING PRACTICE

I hope I made a strong enough case for daily writing to make you want to try it! If so, here's a 60 minute audio of a tele-workshop I gave on how to start your daily writing practice.

Download the audio file (mp3)
Download the slides

BONUS #2: WRITING ACCOUNTABILITY

Here's a lengthier description of the different types of writing accountability structures I described in the workshop

BONUS #3: SUNDAY MEETING

I described a 30-minute process for planning your week called The Sunday Meeting. If you would like to learn more about this technique: click here

RESOURCES & REFERRALS:

I mentioned a number of supportive resources and referrals that you can use to support your writing. All of them can be found by clicking on the "
Resources and Referrals
" button in the left hand navigation bar.

MONTHLY TELE-WORKSHOPS:

The workshop you experienced was an example of the types of workshops we offer each month to for our institutional and community members. If you want to do a monthly deep dive on the
Thriving in the Academy series then feel free to join us either live on the monthly tele-workshops or by downloading the audio afterward in our discussion forum. If you would like to participate in the workshops and forum, please consider becoming an individual NCFDD Community Member or asking your college/university to become an Institutional Member.

FACULTY SUCCESS PROGRAM:

Some of you expressed interest in our 15-week Boot-Camp that runs every Fall, Spring, and Summer Semester. You can read more about the program by
clicking here. It's not for everyone, but if you need to make some radical changes in your productivity and/or work-life balance AND you know that you'll be most effective working within an intense community of support and accountability, then consider enrolling in our next session. Registration for the Summer Semester boot-camp begins April 1st, 2012.

I greatly enjoyed working with you and am looking forward to hearing about all of your success.
Warmly,
Kerry Ann
