The NCFDD team is on the move in the new academic year! So far we've had a chance to visit the University of Alberta, Berea College, Virginia Tech, Washington State University, and the University of Michigan. We also had a great time hosting a meet-up for Faculty Success Program alumni, family and friends at Michigan State University. We get so inspired when our virtual community meets face-to-face to share success stories!
Because we love supporting you, we can’t help but ask: are YOU planning to increase your productivity this term?
If so, we’ve got some great resources available to help you do just that this month! For academic parents, we’re hosting a multi-week course on How to Balance Parenting & Productivity: a Realistic Approach for Faculty With Young Children. For the conflict-avoidant, this month's core curriculum webinar (How to Engage In Healthy Conflict) will help you spend less time worrying how to navigate conflicts and more time on your research and writing. And for those interested in our series on How to Be An Effective Public Intellectual we’re hosting a webinar featuring The OpEd Project. For those of you who need help managing email, this month’s feature article (Buried By Email) shares techniques and tools to reduce the clutter in your inbox. And if you want (or need) a full productivity intervention, registration for the January session of our Faculty Success Program (aka Faculty Bootcamp) opens on October 26th.
Only you can say what will inspire your productivity this Fall, but I hope that you'll connect with the exact resource you need this month!
