Under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer of the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD), the Financial Administrator will be responsible for working with all areas of the business to maintain all bookkeeping and administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer. The Financial Administrator will be responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and QuickBooks documentation.
AS AN APPLICANT, YOU MUST:
At least an Associates degree in Accounting or related field required.
5+ years full-charge bookkeeping experience including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll/payroll tax processing, month-end close and financial statement preparation.
Bookkeeping experience in a small business services company, public accounting firm or multi-entity environment is preferred.
In-depth experience with QuickBooks
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Excel and Word) and online banking download experience
Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize; deadline driven.
High attention to detail to ensure excellent quality of work.
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a high-functioning team.
Technically savvy in an electronic environment and eagerly embrace frequent technological advancements.
Must be located in Metro Detroit with ability to travel to NCFDD home offices as needed
