Faculty Success Program

Over the years, we've observed that the top reasons people make the decision to join the Faculty Success Program is that they had a friend or colleague participate in the program and were amazed by their increased productivity.

As you approach the end of the term and begin thinking about what type of changes you want to make this summer, I thought I'd send along a few words from our Faculty Success Program alumni for inspiration (see the success stories below). Wouldn't it be great to end your summer feeling this way about YOUR productivity and work-life balance?

If you want to learn more about the Faculty Success Program feel free to:

If you plan to register for our upcoming session, please don't wait until the last minute. Once we are full, we close registration.

What Faculty Are Saying About the Faculty Success Program:

"I’m getting excited about my work again and I’m confident the tools I gained from the Faculty Success Program will help me continue to grow."

"I know it might sound like an exaggeration, but the Faculty Success Program was a game changer for me. I work at an institution that equally values teaching and scholarship. Though I was making solid progress toward tenure on both fronts, as a former teacher I gravitated toward putting more emphasis on my teaching than on my scholarship. Over time, I realized that I built up some negative attitudes and quite a bit of resistance to writing and doing research. Based on a friend’s recommendation, I registered for the Faculty Success Program and it was the best decision I could have made. The program has given me the tools, community, and mentoring that are helping me reshape my habits, my routines, and ultimately my mindset about my scholarship. I can honestly say that I’m getting excited about my work again and I’m confident the tools I gained from the Faculty Success Program will help me continue to grow."

"I’ve learned how to manage unexpected setbacks and still know that I’m making thoughtful choices about where best to put my energies."

"I participated in the Faculty Success Program during a time of challenging personal and professional transitions: the structure, guidance, and support network that FSP provided helped me set myself up well for potential future opportunities, even as it helped me navigate the changes that I faced day to day. Through it, I’ve learned how to manage unexpected setbacks and still know that I’m making thoughtful choices about where best to put my energies. The Faculty Success Program was a huge part of my survival and I'm excited to keep practicing what I learned during the semester in the future to come."
