Faculty Success Program - Spring 2017
Share |

Have you been as productive as you need to be this term? If so, congratulations! If not, I warmly invite you to join me later today, November 2, to learn 5 Secrets to A Super Productive Semester or to join our 14 Day Writing Challenge! They are both great ways to connect with a supportive community of active writers.

We invite you to register for our spring session of the Faculty Success Program (January – April, 2017). Our virtual bootcamp has an over 90% success rate in helping faculty members increase their research and writing productivity (even during a busy term). The program has been so successful in helping faculty members increase their productivity and find work-life balance that registration for the spring session filled up incredibly fast. But, to accommodate the faculty members who were hoping to participate, we've added more spots! These extra spots will go quickly, so be sure to register ASAP!

What Is the Faculty Success Program?

It is a 12-week virtual bootcamp where you will learn how to:

  • Increase your research and writing productivity
  • Align your work time with your promotion criteria, personal values, and long-term goals
  • Develop a thriving network of mentors for long-term success

How Does It Work?

Participants in the bootcamp form a writing community that provides a structure for productivity including:

  • Weekly Training Modules where you will learn one skill per week and your homework is to implement that skill.
  • Weekly Accountability Groups where you connect with three other faculty members and one of our certified faculty coaches to receive direct guidance, problem-solving, and support on your individual productivity.
  • Daily support in our custom software platform where you will track your daily work habits, analyze your data as you experiment with new habits, get feedback, share resources, and make continuous adjustments to increase your productivity.
  • Access to Private Individual Coaching with our Master Coaches when you need it.
To learn more about the program, join me for a short preview webinar later today, November 2, 2016 at 12:00 pm ET, and get ready to kick off our 14-Day Writing Challenge!

What Faculty Are Saying About the Faculty Success Program

"I’m feeling much more productive and in charge of my time, and much less GUILTY about structuring my work days such that I have time for family and for myself!"

Rebecca D. Burdine, PhD Associate Professor
Department of Molecular Biology
Princeton University

"I came to FSP post-tenure, feeling overwhelmed with responsibilities and spending each day putting out fires. While I’ve done a lot of reading on productivity and organization, FSP helped those tools make sense for me in very practical ways. I’m feeling much more productive and in charge of my time, and much less GUILTY about structuring my work days such that I have time for family and for myself! I wasn’t expecting how beneficial having the small group of faculty with similar career issues would be. The accountability with my group and our coach made things work for me in a way I had not experienced before. I would recommend this program for beginning faculty so they start out with the tools they need from the get go. However, this program is clearly useful whether you are just starting, approaching tenure, or dealing with the post-tenure career path. I can’t say enough about this course and have already recommended it to several fellow faculty members."
