25% Off NCFDD Individual Membership Ends Tomorrow!

Good morning!

Tomorrow is the last day of our Individual Membership Drive, and I don't want you to miss this fantastic opportunity, so I thought I'd share a message I received from one of our Individual Members reflecting on her experience with the NCFDD:

"I initially learned about NCFDD from an informal mentor who, upon hearing about my challenges to publish, encouraged me to participate in a 14-Day Writing Challenge. I noticed an immediate increase in my writing productivity that summer, and by the end of the summer I had established a regimen of weekly planning that included daily writing goals with specific estimates for time and tasks. I recently became a Faculty Success Program coach to reconnect to the NCFDD community of scholars who project a very positive outlook on the hard work of scholarship while holding me accountable for my personal goals. A total win-win, but especially for me!"

Melva Grant, PhD
Old Dominion University

To be honest, I created the NCFDD so that more academics can have the experience Professor Grant described: 1) access to the information that you need to succeed (but nobody ever tells you), 2) training in skills and strategies that really work, and 3) increased attention towards personal goals.

If you've already got all of these things, congratulations! But if you're missing the mentoring you want and need to truly thrive in the Academy, then I encourage you to consider becoming an NCFDD Individual Member today!
